Welcome! We are The Rambling Therapist, an online platform dedicated to getting more people into therapy by bridging the gap between therapists and people seeking mental health care. This Privacy Policy explains how The Rambling Therapist LLC (“The Rambling Therapist ”, “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information (as defined below) in connection with our websites (the “Sites”) and other websites we own and operate that link to this Privacy Policy, and the related content, platform, services, products, apps, and other functionality offered on or through our services (collectively, the “Services”). It does not address our privacy practices relating to The Rambling Therapist employees and other personnel.
In certain situations, The Rambling Therapist may function as a service provider for an associated but independent group of affiliated clinical practices (The Rambling Therapist Professionals”). In the course of providing services for The Rambling Therapist , we may collect your personal information on behalf of The Rambling Therapist Professionals. We refer to this type of personal information as “Customer Data.” We collect and process Customer Data on behalf of The Rambling Therapist Professionals subject to restrictions set forth in our contracts with them, including HIPAA business associate agreements. This Privacy Policy does not apply to our collection and processing of Customer Data. We recommend referring to The Rambling Therapist ’ Notice of Privacy Practices for information on how they engage service providers, like us, to collect and process Customer Data on their behalf.

In that case, the additional Privacy Policy will govern how we may process the information provided at that time.
III. HOW WE USE COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES TO COLLECT INFORMATION

All of the information collected automatically through these tools allows us to improve your customer experience. For example, we may use this information to enhance and personalize your user experience, to monitor and improve our Sites and Services, and to improve the effectiveness of our Services, offers, advertising, communications, and customer service.
